Live in Nashville: The One25A at Sound Stage Studios
Nashville, Tennessee — Located in the heart of Music Row, Sound Stage Studios will host a listening event for Amphion on April 15th. From 5-8pm guests will have the chance to experience the brand’s first 3-way active studio monitor that they launched at NAMM 2023. Since its world debut, the One25A has been on a global listening tour reaching over twenty cities including in Los Angeles, Miami, Taipei, Tokyo and Stockholm. Refreshments will be served throughout the event as guests have a chance to sit in the same studio that recorded hits by Johnny Cash, George Strait, and many more. Advanced Acoustic Design
The One25A is a powerful full range monitor with a sealed design for the modern studio environment whether it be commercial, educational facilities, post-production, classical recording or film composing. The 3-way active monitor features an innovative sealed dual cabinet with isolated bass and midrange chambers to minimize acoustic cross-coupling and provide superior resolution and clarity. The baffle around the midrange chamber is acoustically symmetrical for a smooth frequency curve and precise imaging, and the design also incorporates the 5th generation of Amphion’s proprietary U/D/D (Uniformly Directive Diffusion) into the speaker for improved driver integration and speaker performance. Resonance and energy transfer are also optimized in the hexagonal bass cabinet design for a rich bass response that feels impactful, but precise. The result is a tight, tuneful reference monitor with all of the speed and accuracy users have come to expect from Amphion.
To achieve the highest signal integrity and the sonic transparency Amphion is known for, a minimalistic cross-over design was needed. Building on the 2-way active circuitry of the Amphion Base-units, a mastering grade resolution is now available in an active 3-way monitor. One25A is free of dynamics and detail-degrading DSP and AD/DA stages, which leads to maximum resolution and the performance translates into an effortless and rich listening experience.
